About us

Going Beyond Results empowers people to achieve positive outcomes through academic and life coaching, and Mental Health First Aid.

Our programs are developed for the individual and we take the time to get to know you and build a program that will empower you to live your best life.

Each of our clients have embraced our personal development program that focuses on developing Techniques, Attitudes, Skills and Knowledge that will serve them now and into their future.

Our mission

“We must go beyond results and empower positive outcomes across all aspects of life, only then doors are opened.

Doors that have been locked and some doors we didn’t even know existed.”

Gary Bruce, Founder and Lead Coach

About our Founder and Lead Coach

Gary Bruce is an educator, writer and speaker with over 35 years of teaching and leadership experience. He works with state and independent schools, co-educational and single sex schools, and in the private sector. Gary is an accredited instructor with Mental Health First Aid Australia, as well as the International Coaching Federation. In addition, he is a Master Practitioner of NLP and a certified Master Practitioner with the American Board of Hypnotherapists.

Gary founded Going Beyond Results after working with numerous students who benefited from one-on-one coaching. Together they worked  to develop time management, improve organisation skills, assessment preparation and how to overcome stress management. After observing a number of his clients suffering from anxiety and depression he later became a Mental Health First Aid instructor. Gary has delivered MHFA training to hundreds of teachers, parents, coaches and employers of youth.

Gary is now acquiring a Masters of Counselling (University of Canberra) to further improve his ability to serve those in need. He is a member of the Australian Counselling Association and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. Gary works to improve outcomes for his client by focusing on the individual and empowering them by developing techniques, attitudes, skills and knowledge.
